300 views on my recent ENA Day artwork... not only did it NOT get frontpaged, but only 16 people voted on it even though it has this many views. idk if someone view botted this and that's why it didn't get frontpaged or what, but seriously someone tell me what I am doing wrong here because apparently, this wasn't enough to get frontpaged even though I had the most views for the ENA Day 2025 tag
Yeah sometimes I forget to like and favorite too😅.
Also the front page thing all depends if what you draw happens to be what the mods personally like.
Not a matter of skill or quality.
So I mainly look at the new art page because there is more variety and avoid looking at the featured page.

nah im not blaming anyone i just thought it was a little fishy with my views compared to votes that I genuinely thought someone viewbotted lol

the views do not get your illustrations to be featured on the front page, as they are irrelevent. thats the job of certain mods to scout the portal for artworks that they deem fit to be featured there. its based on both how skilled you are and how lucky you are
as for the votes, not all users of this site have the habbit of voting, some just prefer to see and then leave
that happens and its okay. chin up, dude

I actually had no idea views didn't really matter. I figured more views would mean it was more likely for mods to see it... thank you for your response tho
